Axl Rose disappoints angry fans
Axl Rose left the stage at Wembley Arena midway through the last song of the main set. This continues the string of disappointed cities along the Guns N' Roses UK tour.
The band did not begin to perform for its weary fans until 10:30 and then the audience caught an even bigger blow when Rose left the stage only to be replaces by guest star Sebastian Bach, formerly of the band Skid Row and television show "Gilmore Girls."
Band manager Merck Mercuriadis read a statement at the end of the show claiming Rose had been suffering from either "high-blood pressure" or "hypertension."
But many believe Rose' problems may stem from the previous evening's 4 a.m. 'secret' performance at Koko in Camden, North London, which may have left the performer worn out for the big Wembley performance.
Previous tour mishaps include Rose' Swedish arrest for alleged drunken assault on a security guard. And the early dismissal of a Newcastle show that ended with fans, irate at the late start of the show, pelting the band with glasses.
