Eddie Griffin works on family comedy for NBC

Comedian Eddie Griffin is stepping out of his adult-themed act and movie roles to set up a family comedy at NBC. Variety reports Griffin will be working with film producer John Davis (Fat Albert), whom he first worked with on the upcoming "Norbit," which also stars Eddie Murphy.

Griffin will star and be a producer on the half-hour comedy that will revolve around his own experience as a father of multiple children with different women. Griffin refers to the show as, "The f**ked-up Cosby Show." Well, that makes me want to see it!
