No more secrets from J.K. Rowling
Will he live or will he die? That is the unanswered question on many Harry Potter fan’s minds. However, according to AP, they will have to wait until the seventh and final edition in the series hits bookstores. “Some will loathe it, some will love it, but that’s the way it should be,” J.K. Rowling, the famed author of the book, said.
At a benefit in New York’s Radio City Music Hall Rowling joined famous writers Stephen King and John Irving for her first time in the States since 2000. The benefit will help aid Doctors Without Borders and the Haven Foundation. The writers will be reading to an audience of fans at the Music Hall.
Earlier this summer Rowling let go of some secrets telling fans two major characters will die in the final book. “ (In) an epic saga, the hero has to fight alone,” she added at the benefit.
The great tale of Harry Potter began in 1997 with “Sorcerer’s Stone” and has led to a worldwide fan base with 300 million books sold. The new book, set to be the final edition, still remains nameless and without a release date.
