Big Brother All-Stars Season Episode 13

The Nomination Episode

I should call it the Head of Household episode since this competition takes up nearly half the hour. We still don't know who the new HOH is and the competition involving hanging onto the spiderweb, it's just a net, is getting really boring. It must be even more boring to compete in because Will jumps off first and claims an egg. Danielle announces from the web that whoever gets the "no slop" egg should volunteer it to Chicken George. I don't hear anyone agree. All I hear is Will wishing for the $10,000 then crying when he only gets a gross rotten egg.

We get a break from the web/net boredom with a slightly more exciting montage of Howie aka "Big Boy." Big Boy has been in massive food consumption mode since entering the house, which has led him to gain weight. Danielle finally sits him down and gives him the health talk. She's a mom, guys, and you know she misses these kinds of talks. Howie agrees to cut back on the junk food.

Back at the competition, the web harness continues to "spin" into different angles. The hamsters are finally told they must get underneath and hang from the web. Doing that from the beginning would have saved a lot of time.

James is the second to drop and he cracks the highly coveted "nullify an eviction vote" egg. Mike Boogie follows and gets the even more coveted, since you can actually take it with you whether you win or lose, $10,000. Boogie tries to play down his excitement/attachment to the money as he recognizes its potential barter value. Kaysar cracks a rotten egg and Marcellas cracks the "no slop" egg. George falls and gets nothing since there were only five eggs.

Howie can barely keep his Big Boy body up any longer. Danielle and Erika badger him until he finally drops, but not before getting a protection promise first. Shoot, he's not that dumb. Dani tells Erika to give it to her. Erika happily obeys and drops of the net. Danielle is the new Head of Household. Season six has been dethroned, finally.

Big Brother treats the hamsters to pizza and after much squabbling over honor or whatever, Chicken George accepts the "no slop" ticket from Marcellas and has his first taste of food in weeks. I cried.Dani meets with James to tell him her risky plan to nominate him against Janelle because he can "take" her and the nomination would also provide some needed concealment of their alliance. James is uneasy but tells her he trusts whatever she decides.

The nomination ceremony comes and Danielle goes ahead with James vs. Janelle. James plays along as the victim by desperately putting his head in his hands. He's really going to have his head in his hands when Janelle wins the veto.
