Britney Spears ready to renew vows after two years of marriage

The singer announced she and husband Kevin Federline will marry again.

Britney Spears is becoming a woman with too much to prove.

In her campaign to prove to the world that she and hubby dancer-turned-rapper Kevin Federline (the artist formerly known as K-Fed) are happy and madly in love, Spears reportedly wants to renew her vows with Federline after only two years of marriage. Reports also say she bestowed her beloved with a black American Express card with no credit limit.

Yikes!

The sexy singing star and her husband first tied the knot in September 2004 in a private ceremony at the home of her wedding planner. Friends and family were invited under the guise they would be attending a party but were surprised when they realized Brit and Kev were actually getting married. The couple's first child, the infamous Sean Preston, is approaching his first birthday. The new addition is due to arrive in October.

Federline recently alluded to the rough patches in his marriage the tabloids have speculated about since the beginning of their legal union. Of his marriage to Spears, Federline said, "It's definitely going to be hard. It'll have to be worked at, but that's every relationship."

Perhaps if the tabloids understood the fact that even the most perfect unions have minor to major bumps in the road, Spears wouldn't feel the need to keep justifying herself. The media will have questions and speculations about her life but the one thing Spears needs to remember is that if she wants to marry Federline once, twice or 1,000 times, it's her prerogative.
