Big Brother All-Stars Season Episode 17

The episode opens with Chill Town promising Danielle to throw the veto competition for her. Hmm, I guess they don't know Mike and Erika make out at night while in bed. Erika's diary room session reveals she really thinks she's part of Chill Town, which is pretty heartbreaking. Ooh, and we get a mini cat fight when Marcellas confronts Janelle about the status of their - as far as I know, never really existed and hasn't conceptually existed for weeks- alliance. They argue back and forth about the rumors they've heard before making the most unconvincing promise of loyalty to each other.

The second clue arrives. It is a giant needle and spool of thread. I'm thinking, "ewe reap what you sew"? So do some other hamsters but they don't book an appointment with the Diary Room. Janelle strong arms Howie to guess "wolf in sheep's clothing" and instructs him to tell the others he said "spool of lies." Nobody believes him.

The veto competition arrives. "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better." Janelle cannot compete because she gave up that right during the last veto competition but she instructs Howie and James to destroy Danielle. The contestants: Erika, Danielle, James, Marcellas and Will must wager on how quickly they can perform a task. Will is successful and can now eliminate someone so he chooses Marcellas. James eliminates Erika upon which Janelle's head almost explodes. James purposely loses his next task so he is eliminated and Will does the same. Danielle is left standing with the Veto and the whole house knows who is aligned with whom.

Janelle is rightfully furious. She and Howie demand answers from James, who tries to lie by saying Janelle asked him to take out Erika. Janelle's confessional reveals she is finally through with James. I don't know where she gets off being so righteous when she was the one who told Howie to eliminate Erika, and shatter the alliance's plans, in a prior veto competition.

Janelle speaks to Chill Town and their excuse is Marci would have helped Danielle. They tell her they don't trust James and he should be put up. Janelle goes downstairs to speak to Marcellas about offering him up as a pawn. He handles it maturely even though he'd get sent home. Janelle feels trapped and tells him she won't nominate him. This is when I screamed out, "Liar!"

I'm glazing over this quickly because it was really disgusting and remarkably ineffective on both sides, Erika and Janelle took a shower with Chill Town. It was so pathetic how the opposite sexes thought they were manipulating each other. The women thought they could get votes and the men thought they'd see boobs. Neither happened but I had nightmares all night.

Danielle obviously vetoes herself off the block and Janelle replaces her with Marcellas. He doesn't even cry. I was hoping she would go with James because that would be more exciting and I have mentioned before how much his overly groomed eyebrows disturb me, but whatever.
