Big Brother All-Stars Season Episode 19

in
The Sunday Eviction

So, basically, Janelle and Howie want George to maintain the nominations he made right after being elected Head of Household. Mike Boogie goes to George and tells him Chill Town has saved him and they want him to return the favor by backdooring Janelle.

The Power of Veto competition has the players ankle cuffed to a tree stump with some "tools" (hula hoop, golf club, tape) before them. They must construct these tools in order to grab the key to their cuff that is situated about 10 feet away from them. James wins.

Erika speaks to George and they align with each other. I have no clue if this is even remotely sincere, but I doubt it. James tells George to nominate Janelle because he is part of the new power in the house and George better do what he says. Will offers himself up to George to possibly knock out Erika. I'm so sick of Will pretending he doesn't want to be there. Why doesn't anyone call Will out on his phoniness? Why doesn't anyone call anyone out?

After promising George she wouldn't tell anyone his plans, Erika runs to Mike and Danielle to tell them George wants to put up Will. Mike sits on this until enough people are in the room then decides to call out George. Will neglects to mention that he offered himself to George (not even Mike knows.) George says he will not put up Janelle because she has played her butt off. This is kind of true. Mike is not pleased and decides to flaunt the fact that some unknown person in the house has some unknown power that can really stir things up and perhaps George wouldn't want to mess with that. Yeah, Mike totally threatened George. James enters to announce the Veto ceremony.

James vetoes himself and George decides to nominate Janelle's only real ally, Howie. Howie is furious. He yells at George, telling him what a mistake he made and boasting he has the votes to stay.

James and Janelle drag Howie to another room to scold him for the outburst while guaranteeing him safety. Howie runs into Mike while leaving the room. Mike tells him not to pack, then solidifies his solidarity by stating "Bros over hoes," a reference to Mike's obvious relationship with nominee Erika. Howie again asks Mike for reassurance. Mike tells him not to worry and they hug it out. Finally the eviction part of the live episode begins. Being that the show started late, we get a speedy version of the "live" voting. James and Janelle stick by their fellow sixer, but by a vote of three to two, Howie is evicted.

Howie gives backhanded compliments in between hugs until he gets to Mike. Howie flicks Mike's cap off. Mike is reduced to calling Howie a class act. Howie turns around and gets in Mike's face. I know violence is wrong, but Mike really deserves it. Howie calls Mike a liar to his face and James gets in between them. I could totally tell Mike was shook by the way he kept screaming "there are 20 people out there" like it was his personal security alarm. Howie finally leaves. He tells Julie he isn't mad at George because Mike threatened him into that nomination.

The hamsters enter their enchanted forest backyard for the Head of Household competition. They are told gnomes are magical creatures that hear everything. Julie will recite some of their observations and the hamster must choose true or false. A wrong answer gets a pie in the face thrown by one of the real life little people dressed up as gnomes. They have real people dressed as gnomes. It is as offensive as it sounds. It gets even more offensive when Mike- the lying, crying, scared of Howie, loser- wins HOH. Pretty much everyone is overjoyed, and that makes me even sadder.
