Fourth Indiana Jones movie may happen...again
Lucas is still smarting from the cool reception of "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace," and fears the audience and critics will dog a new Indiana Jones installment. The director/producer told Britain's Empire magazine, "People's expectations are way higher than you can deliver. You could just get killed for the whole thing."
Director Stephen Spielberg is more optimistic explaining, "Hopefully it will be different in all the right ways and the same in all the familiar ways." Harrison Ford is the most excited to crack the Indie whip. The star is hoping to reprise his role as the adventurous archaeologist next year with a release date in 2008.
"Raiders of the Lost Ark," the first Indiana Jones movie, was released 25 years ago while the most recent installment, "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" hit theaters back in 1989.
