Rumors of Bruce Springsteen separating from wife of nearly 20 years for 9/11 widow.
Springsteen was still married to television actress Julianna Phillips when he became involved with his current and second wife Patti Scialfa. Twenty years later, insiders are saying Springsteen and Scialfa live separate lives and have been this way since Springsteen met a beautiful 9/11 widow while organizing the "America: A Tribute to Heroes" telethon.
Springsteen and the widow have been seen at upscale restaurants all over their New Jersey neighborhood and their children even attend the same exclusive school. Scialfa and Springsteen, however, have not been seen together in quite some time. Springsteen even attended their daughter's eighth grade graduation alone, and has been spending less time at home in favor of a guesthouse 20 minutes away.
There is still hope for the marriage with one friend insisting there is no affair and stating, " Bruce and Patti are very much partners. They go at it a lot and fight, but they also work at it a lot . . . Patti is a strong woman. They are not going anywhere."
