Cindy Crawford’s cosmetic surgery confession
25-Aug-2006
Written by: Kevin Manahan

The supermodel reveals the secrets to her age-defying beauty.

Supermodel legend Cindy Crawford says cosmetic surgery is what has kept the beauty of her catwalk heyday intact, contrary to popular belief that her good looks are naturally developed.

"I have a very simple, healthy life, which works miracles. I drink a lot of water, watch what I eat and exercise," Crawford says in an interview with Gala magazine. "But I owe the quality of my skin to my cosmetic surgeon."

The 40-year-old star says she has been enhancing her appearance with surgery since she was 29, despite her earlier claims that she simply used a mixture of ground coffee and olive oil on her skin.

"I'm not going to lie to myself: past a certain age, creams work on the texture of your skin but, in order to restore elasticity, all I can really count on is vitamin injections, Botox and collagen," she says.

Crawford has her own line of beauty products called Meaningful Beauty, featuring moisturizers, facial masks and cleansers.
