Hitwise, the Internet traffic-monitoring agency, has recorded a 71 percent drop in the number of visitors to Howard Stern's Web site since March of 2005. That was the month Stern announced he was emancipating himself from the shackles of the FCC radio waves to become part of the Sirius Satellite Radio because it is free of censorship.
Stern's representatives would not respond to the Page Six claims that also include a 90 percent decline on look-ups of Stern's name on search engines.
