Laguna Beach, Season 3 Episode 5

Tessa is trying to gain back her confidence as she heads to San Diego to model. She has not been on the runway for some time, so she is ecstatic her best friend Rocky will be coming to support her. The Laguna gang soon organizes a full on road trip and Rocky, Alex, Cameron, Nick W. and Stephen all plan to go and cheer Tessa on.

Chase pays Tessa a visit as she prepares for her trip to San Diego. She is disappointed he will not be able to make it to her modeling show. He says he has band commitments he cannot miss; she nods as if she knew what he was going to say before he said it. Chase questions Tessa about Cameron; Tessa was all smiles as she explained Cameron would be coming along on the trip. She reminds Chase she and Cameron have been friends for a long time and Chase reminds her she has been friends with him even longer.

While Cameron is working out at the gym Jessica drops in and decides to work out with him. Cameron seems indifferent when he sees her, but he still spots her while she lifts weights. In the car on the way to San Diego Cameron tells his friend, Nick, all his misgivings he has about Jessica. Nick assures Cameron he has every right to "hook up" with whomever he wishes. Nick tells Cameron not to feel bad since he has no ties to Jessica. Once Nick makes his feelings about Jessica clear, he urges Cameron to make moves with Tessa by saying, "What happens in San Diego stays in San Diego."

Tessa's show goes well and Cameron couldn't take his eyes off her as she paraded down the runway. After the show, Tessa and all her cohorts head to Dick's Last Resort for a dose of rude waiters and dinner. The waiter, Taco, put on quite a show complete with a flash of his massive belly. Taco also uncovers Tessa's feelings about Cameron. He ushers everyone away from the table and prods Tessa until she admits through a mouth of giggles she does indeed like Cameron.

While Cameron is finding love in San Diego, Jessica stresses in Laguna. She tells her friend Alex she is unhappy because she has not heard from Cameron. Alex tries to change the subject by asking Jessica about her ideal man. Jessica explains him to Alex, but all her ideal man's characteristics are identical to Cameron's.

Back at the hotel Cameron does not seem anxious about not talking to Jessica; all his focus is on Tessa. While everyone else tries to figure out what to do for the evening, things between Cameron and Tessa heat up. Once the make out session between the two of them starts, Rocky and the rest of the crew head out so Tessa and Cameron can have privacy. While Tessa really like Cameron, Cameron tells Nick he is going to make sure nothing comes of his late night with Tessa.

Once he gets back to Laguna, Cameron and Jessica have a heart to heart on the beach. Cameron sweet talks Jessica until they both agree they will just let whatever happens between them happen. Once again Cameron is breaking hearts in Laguna.
