Model says she hopes others can learn from her loss
Anna Nicole Smith said she accepts the pathologist’s findings that her son died from an accidental mixture of drugs and not because of suicide, and hopes others can learn from her situation, her attorney told the Associated Press on Thursday.
“At least she knows the attacks on her son's reputation can be put to rest because it's clear he didn't intentionally take his life," Wayne Munroe, a Bahamian attorney for the 38-year-old reality TV star and former Playboy Playmate told the AP.
A second pathologist concluded Daniel Smith died from a combination of methadone and two antidepressants when he died three days after his mother gave birth to a new daughter.
"She wants to see exactly what happened in a final report because she wants to make sure it doesn't happen to someone else's son," Munroe told the AP.
