Canadian singer apologizes for two incidents with paparazzi last week
Avril Lavigne apologized for spitting at the paparazzi in Los Angeles on in a message posted on her website, according to the Associated Press.
According to reports, Lavigne spat at photographers in two separate incidents last week when she was in Los Angeles with her husband, Deryck Whibley of Sum 41.
Lavigne apologized for her "behavior with the paparazzi," according to the AP. However, in the apologize said she "'meant no offense" to her fans and not the paparazzi. She added she will always go out of her way for her fans.
She also said she acted out because it was "reaction to the persistent attack from the paparazzi" and she said "it's trying at best dealing with their insistent intrusions," the wire service reported.
