It's a Girl for Gyllenhaal
Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard are now the proud parents of a baby girl.
Us Weekly is reporting that actress Maggie Gyllenhaal gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday in New York City. Gyllenhaal headed to The Birthing Center at St. Luke's-Roosevelt hospital around 10am Tuesday morning and is said to have given birth some time in the afternoon. The 28-year-old "Secretary" actress and her fiance, 35-year-old actor Peter Sarsgaard welcomed the 8 lb. 6 oz. baby girl into their family. The couple named the baby Ramona. Gyllenhaal's rep, Amanda Silverman, said that the new family is "happy and healthy." This is the first child for the couple that has been together for four years. Gyllenhaal and Sarsgaard became engaged in April.
