DVD Dribble
It's time for another children based Dribble. The following DVDs include sing-a-longs as well as animated films.
Kids ages 2 to 5 can sing and dance while learning about the Bible with the "Action Bible Toons." The animated DVD includes educational shorts and karaoke videos. "Action Bible Toons" comes in a CD/DVD pack.
This next DVD gets the whole family to come together for dinner. "Everyday Food, Vol. 1 - Fast, Family-Friendly Ideas" shows quick and easy ways to make meals that the whole family will enjoy. It's available in both Spanish and French subtitles for those that don't understand English too well. The five episodes include 24 recipes. The DVD features cast bios, tools and techniques, "Meet the Cast" video, and kitchen tips.
"Toddler Toons" is another sing-a-long DVD, but this one uses famous children's songs. This also comes with a CD. There are no special features on this DVD.
Now we move from sing-a-longs to a CG animated series. "Angel Wars: Guardian Force - Episode 03" shows angels battling spirits. The third installment of the series is a continuation of the second where the angels try to rescue another angel and stop a demon from going into the human world. "Angel Wars: Guardian Force - Episode 03" does not include any special features.
Eloise has gone from books to DVDs. This edition of the Dribble closes off with two Eloise DVDs. "Me, Eloise" revolves around Eloise's birthday and how she plans for her big party. The 45-minute DVD includes the DVD game "Rescue the Weenie," Sing-Along-Song "Eloise's Theme Song," "Plaza Pals," "From Paper to Movie," and a DVD-ROM featuring a birthday party invitation maker, coloring pages, and wallpaper. Eloise celebrates the Christmas spirit by putting together a holiday show for the Plaza in "Eloise: Little Miss Christmas." The DVD comes with the DVD memory game "Gift Wrapped Kids," Sing-Along-Song "Jingle Bells," "Plaza Pals," "From Paper to Movie" and a DVD-ROM featuring a holiday card maker, coloring pages, and wallpaper.
The DVDs in this edition of the DVD Dribble were all targeted for young viewers. Some of these DVDs can even be used as a teaching tool for young children.
