Sabbath Returns Under New Name
Members of Black Sabbath create a new band.
Members of the British rock group Black Sabbath will play together again, but this time under another name. The group, which consists of guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, drummer Bill Ward and singer Ronnie James Dio, will now be called Heaven and Hell. The band plans to tour internationally next year.
Notably missing from the group is the original lead singer, Ozzy Osbourne. Dio replaced Osbourne as the lead singer in the early 80's. Osbourne's people said that next year Osbourne will work with his former Black Sabbath bandmates on a new album and tour.
