Baby Girl for Bateman

Actor Jason Bateman and wife Amanda Anka are new parents. Anka gave birth to the couple's first child, a baby girl, in Los Angeles on Saturday. The couple named their daughter Francesca Nora Bateman.

The couple started dating in 1998 after knowing each other for years. They wed in Malibu in July 2001.

Bateman is a 37-year-old actor who most recently starred in the now defunct FOX series "Arrested Development." He was also known for his childhood roles on "Silver Spoons' and "The Hogan Family." Anka is also 37-years-old actor and is the daughter of singer Paul Anka. She has appeared on such shows as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and "Diagnosis Murder."
