U2 to Be in 3-D
There will be a 3-D U2 concert film coming out next year.
U2 fans will now be able to see the band in a different perspective. The Irish rock band plans to release a 3-D concert film. The film, which is as of yet untitled, will be made from over 700 hours of multi-angle concert footage from the band's South American leg of their Vertigo Tour, filmed in February and March 2006. The film is expected to be released in Summer or Fall 2007. The band may also make history as they participate in the first live 3-D performance to be shown in theaters as promotion for the film.
