According to Reuters, comedian and actor, Bill Cosby, settled a lawsuit, on Wednesday, brought on by a woman who claimed Cosby sexually assaulted her.
Andrea Constand, a Canadian citizen, filed a suit against Cosby after she said he drugged her and then sexually attacked her at his home in Philadelphia in 2004.
Cosby's publicist, David Brokaw, released the statement,"Ms. Constand and Mr. Cosby have resolved their differences, and therefore the litigation has been dismissed." He would not comment any further on the matter.
Although Constand's suit alleged that at least 10 other women were assaulted by the 69-year-old comedian and actor, prosecutors declined to file criminal charges against Cosby due to insufficient evidence.
