Off-duty police officer said she was injured during scuffle with rapper.

Rapper, Juvenile, was cleared in a lawsuit that claimed he was responsible for an off-duty police officer injuring her knee while trying to break up a fight in which the rapper was involved.

After the week-long trial, the six-member jury ruled in favor of Juvenile, according to the Associated Press.

"We got them, we got them, we got them," said the rapper, whose real name is Terius Gray, the AP reported. "Just the fact that it's a rap artist against the police, that never happens. Rappers never win. We never win against the police or the government."

Fred Abbott, an attorney for the officer, told the AP he will file a motion for a new trial or an appeal.

"It was a travesty of justice," Abbott told the wire service. "One day justice will prevail."

In 1999, Juvenile and some friends were asked to leave Regency Square mall because their dress and language violated mall policy. The officer then was called over to issue a trespassing ticket, and injured her knee trying to control Juvenile in the resulting scuffle, according to the lawsuit.
