Not Meant to Be: Anderson and Rock File for Divorce

According to People magazine, Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock both filed petitions for divorce on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences. Anderson was previously married to another rocker, Tommy Lee, from 1995 to 1998 and has two sons from that marriage. Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, has a son from a previous girlfriend.

Both stars have asked the court not to become involved in spousal support matters, probably because each is so independently wealthy. Anderson achieved international notoriety through the show Baywatch, and most recently played a role in Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat. Anderson and Rock had three separate globe-spanning wedding ceremonies to celebrate their union in July-August.

Anderson did suffer a miscarriage in early November, but there is no speculation of how much or little it contributed to the breakup. One thing is for sure, as posted on Anderson's website: "Divorce. Yes, It's true."
