Reps Shoot Down Jay-Z/Beyonce Rumors

Rumors spread the two were to wed during Jay-Z's birthday bash.

The Jay-Z/Beyonce wedding will have to wait a bit longer.

Over the past few days, rumors have spread in gossip columns and on the Internet that the two were set to wed during Jay-Z's birthday bash.

However, a spokesman for the R&B songstress denied those reports, to Reuters, on Thursday. A spokeswoman for Jay-Z also said she had no knowledge of an impending wedding.

Jay-Z gained his fame with his rap career. Now he is one of entertainment's biggest moguls; owning his own clothing line and part of the NBA New Jersey Nets. Beyonce gained fame through the group Destiny's Child.

Rumors spread that the two were set to wed during Jay-Z's four-day birthday party in the Caribbean. If a wedding would have occurred then it would have left little time for a honeymoon as Beyonce has several planned appearances to promote her new movie, Dreamgirls, according to Reuters.
