Baby Affleck Baptized

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner christened their daughter Violet on Christmas Eve. Violet, who turned 1-year-old on December 1, was baptized at Christ Church United Methodist in Charleston, West Virginia. Garner's parents, sister, and brother-in-law are all church members. Violet's cousin, Alex, was baptized at the same time as well.

Pastor Randy Flanagan, who performed the ceremony, told the Charleston Daily Mail, "They just came to church. We were able to celebrate the baptism for two children in the church. It was a very special celebration. I can say that about every baptism at the church. It's a special privilege for every single child we baptize." He went on to say that there were no special preparations for their arrival and that most of the congregation was not distracted during the service.
