Naomi Campbell Sentenced to Five Days Community Service
Naomi Campbell has pled guilty to the March 2006 assault of her personal assistant, Ana Scolavino, where she hit the employee in the head with a cell phone. In an apparent fit of anger, after Scolavino lost a pair of Campbell's jeans, the 36-year old super model threw her cell phone. Scolavino needed four stitches in her head.
The court declared that she should do the community service indoors, so the media cannot surround, distract and/or embarrass her.
The judge, Robert Mandelbaum, asked Campbell to reimburse the medical costs and to attend a two day anger management program. Anger management may be the best thing for her, since she seems to have a history of violent outbursts and a short temper. In 2000, she pled guilty to assaulting her then assistant in Toronto. She was also accused of slapping another assistant in 2005.
