Nationwide is On K-Fed's Side

Kevin Federline, struggling rapper and baby's daddy to Britney Spears, has landed himself some more spotlight - and this time the world will be watching. K-Fed will be featured in a Super Bowl commercial for Columbus-based Nationwide Insurance. The spot will air in the third quarter of the big game on Feb. 4th.

Nationwide has enlisted other pseudo-celebs in the past (like Fabio and Hammer) to make cameos in their "Life Comes at You Fast" campaign. Now Federline will be on their side, for a juicy thirty seconds. Unfortunately, a Nationwide V.P. has indicated they will make a preview of the entire commercial available on their website a week early. Pardon me for the criticism, but why spend the big bucks on Super Bowl airtime (price of gold multiplied by Google stock) if you're going to debut it over the web?

For the money being spent, we should all have to wait anxiously by our flat-screens to get a glimpse of K-Fed trying to poke fun at his own image. The jury is out on how many will be laughing with him...or still at him.
