Stern Returns to Dannielynn
Anna Nicole Smith's lawyer and partner, Howard K. Stern, returned to the Bahamas home he shared with the late model, to be with their 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope. Stern's mother and sister had been taking care of the baby while they were in Florida. Smith's estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, flew to the island on Friday in hopes of getting custody of the granddaughter she has yet to see. Stern told Entertainment Tonight, "Anna despised that woman. As long as I have breath in my body, that woman will not see Dannielynn." He added, "I wouldn't be here now, but I had to get back to Dannielynn. I know Anna loved her more than anything in the world."
Smith and Stern had a commitment ceremony in the Bahamas on September 28, shortly after the birth of Dannielynn and the death her son Daniel. Stern's name is on the baby's birth certificate as her father. Smith and Stern were reportedly planning a wedding at the end of the month.
