It’s a hodgepodge of DVDs in this edition of the DVD Dribble.
They say variety is the spice of life. If that’s the case, then you’ll probably enjoy the wide variety of DVDs covered in this Dribble.
We kick off this edition of the DVD Dribble with a ninja love story, Shinobi: Heart Under Blade. It is viewable in both English and Japanese. The Shinobi: Heart Under Blade DVD contains a bonus disc. Featured on the bonus disc are Shinobi Action - Sumpu Castle Fight, Director Storyboard Collection, Original TV Spots and Trailers, Shinobi Art - Manjidani, VFX Behind the Scenes, and Weapons Introduction.
Another edition to the NOVA series has come to DVD. NOVA: Mystery of the Megavolcano provides an in-depth look at the Toba supereruption. The DVD includes printable materials for educators, DVD-ROM access to the Nova website, and video descriptions for the visually impaired.
Now it’s time for a scare with Dead Mary. In the movie, a group of college friends get together at a cabin. They play “Dead Mary” and accidentally free a vengeful spirit. The DVD contains English audio tracks, “The Making of ‘Dead Mary’" featurette, and a music video.
Still looking for some horror? Try Kill Baby Kill, a movie about a ghost that goes around and kills people. Included on this DVD are English audio tracks, commentary by biographer Tim Lucas, featurette, still gallery, and trailer.
Hercules actor, Kevin Sorbo, stars in the last DVD in this Dribble, Walking Tall: The Payback. It is the sequel to the 2004 film, Walking Tall. Walking Tall: The Payback is about a sheriff’s son who returns to his hometown to find out that it is filled with drugs and violence. The DVD includes six deleted scenes, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai, and French audio tracks, and English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Korean, Chinese, and Thai subtitles.
This edition of the DVD Dribble did not have one particular theme. Depending on your mood, one of the above DVDs may be for you.
