Howard Stern to Tie the Knot

Howard Stern is tying the knot. That would be Howard Stern of radio talk-show fame, not Howard Stern, last companion of the late Anna Nicole Smith. On Wednesday, Stern announced that he had popped the question just the night before, and that long-time girlfriend Beth Ostrosky was suitable shocked, considering that Stern has been recorded as saying that he was perfectly content with the relationship as is. He once told his listeners that he didn't want to mess up a good thing. The marriage to model-girlfriend Ostrosky will be Stern's second. His previous marriage, to Alison Berns, lasted 21 years before their split in 1999 and subsequent divorce in 2001. During the couple's two-decade-plus marriage, Stern frequently boasted of his faithfulness to his wife while entertaining a parade of strippers and adult-film stars on his show. Stern and his ex-wife have three daughters together, and the film "Private Parts" was based on the couple's romance.
