Grey's Anatomy Might Have a McSpinoff

A spinoff of ABC's hit, Grey's Anatomy, could be in the works. The show is rumored to be in development and would center around the character of Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd, played by actress, Kate Walsh.

On Grey's, Montgomery is embroiled in a love triangle with her ex, Dr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd, and her old flame, Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloan. Reports have surfaced that Montgomery will receive an out-of-town job offer at this season's end, setting up a cliffhanger and character spinoff.

Grey's Anatomy remains a monster in the ratings, catching 25.8 million viewers just last week. There is no indication that any other members of the ensemble cast will leave the show. The Dr. Montgomery spinoff is still untitled, but if approved, it will likely land a spot on next fall's schedule.
