Ghost Rider Idling at #1

Ghost Rider stayed put at number one in the box office for the second weekend in a row. The Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes comic action film earned $19.7 million this weekend. Coming in at number two was the debut of Jim Carrey's latest serious film, The Number 23. The drama made $14.9 million. Last week's number two film, Bridge to Terabithia, dropped a spot to number three with $13.6 million. The TV comedy turned movie, Reno 911!: Miami, entered the box office at number four, earning $10.4 million in its first week of release. Eddie Murphy's Norbit came in fifth with $9.7 million. In their second week of release, Music and Lyrics, Breach, and Daddy's Little Girls were at six, seven, and eight. The Astronaut Farmer and Amazing Grace made their debuts, closing out the weekend's top ten films.
