McCartney and Mills Meet in High Court
Paul McCartney and estranged wife, Heather Mills, returned to London's high court for their ongoing divorce proceedings on Wednesday, according to BBC News.
McCartney was reportedly cheerful, giving his signature two finger salute as he left Court 47 in the Queen's Building, where family hearings are held. Mills said nothing as she arrived and left the closed-door proceedings, wearing sunglasses and carrying several court documents.
Lawyers will not say anything, but this was believed to be a preliminary hearing before the main divorce settlements.
Mills and McCartney issued a joint statement asking the media to respect their privacy as they settle issues, as there has been a lot of "misreporting in the media." In the Queen's Court, both parties names are usually displayed on the door with the case number; in Mills' and McCartney's case, only the case number was shown.
