Angelina Adopts Boy from Vietnam

Angelina flew to Vietnam last night to adopt a 3-year-old boy.

Angelina Jolie arrived in Vietnam Wednesday night, planning the adoption of a 3-year-old boy, reports the Associated Press.

The actress will attend an adoption ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City tomorrow morning, where she will meet with Vietnamese officials. After receiving the child, Jolie will be required to meet with U.S. consular officials, where the situation has to be reviewed before issuing the child a passport.

The boy has been under the care of the Tam Binh orphanage, located just outside Ho Chi Minh City, since his abandonment at a hospital as a baby.

Because Jolie and partner Brad Pitt are not married, Jolie filed the adoption papers as a single parent. Jolie and Pitt have three other children: Maddox, 5, of Cambodia; Zahara, 2, of Ethiopia, and Shiloh, born in May.
