Answer Looms to the Paternity Question for Dannielynn

We may soon know just whose baby Dannielynn Smith is. Six-month-old Dannielynn and Larry Birkhead, ex-boyfriend of mother Anna Nicole Smith, both had DNA samples taken at a doctor's office in the Bahamas on Wednesday morning. Howard K. Stern's DNA, however, was not extracted, because according to Bahaman law, he is not required to, as he is listed on the birth certificate as the baby's father.

The samples are to be sent to a Columbus, Ohio lab and are due back in the Bahamas in approximately four days. Stern has attempted to appeal the judge's order for DNA testing, but at the time that he did so, the samples had already been taken and were on the way to Ohio.

As for recent developments on the late playboy/model's death in Florida last month, the medical examiner looking into the cause of death has said that reports of accidental suicide are ridiculous. Dr. Joshua Perper explains that in order for the death to be a suicide, it would have to be the intent of the person to actually die. "There is no such thing as suicide by accident," he says.
