First Ever YouTube Video Award Winners Chosen
26-Mar-2007
Written by: Abby Riese
YouTube announced Monday the winners of its first ever video awards.
Video series Ask a Ninja and OK Go’s treadmill dancing music video were among the top winners in YouTube’s first ever video awards.
Seven winners were announced today, one week after nominees were chosen. Each category was comprised of ten videos, and users could then rank them, thus voting for winners.
Among the top winners were up-and-coming pop band, OK Go, which won most creative video for "Here It Goes Again," in which they choreographed a dance on moving treadmills, and the popular comedy, Ask a Ninja, created by Kent Nichols and Douglas Sarine, which won best series.
