Scott Weiland's Wife Arrested for Arson

She was arrested Saturday for burning the singer's clothes after a hotel scuffle.

Scott Weiland, former lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots, and his wife, Mary Weiland, had an eventful weekend. She was arrested for arson and vandalism on Saturday, after setting fire to $10,000 worth of her husband's clothes on their front lawn. After being booked at a police station in Burbank, she was released on a $50,000 bond.

The fire incident was apparently the straw that broke the camel's back for Mrs. Weiland. The couple was staying at The Graciela luxury hotel with their two young children and a personal assistant, when police were called due to the commotion that Weiland and his wife were causing. There were reportedly $400 worth of damages to the room, including broken plates and damage to the walls.

Mrs. Weiland is scheduled to be arraigned on May 7 in the arson case, according to police.

It will be up to the hotel to decide to press charges for room damages. The Weiland's two kids are currently in the custody of family friends.
