What to do about Sanjaya
This recap will be short, sweet (or not so sweet) and to the point. First, let's just say that Melinda Doolittle is about eight steps above the rest of the crowd. The girl is amazing and can sing, sing and sing. She just does it right, week after week. She is already the American Idol. The competition can end here. If we then go backwards and look to who would follow, it's a toss up between Lakisha and Chris Richardson. Both have talent and both are pretty darn good. They gave great performances last night, and we loved Gwen Stefani as the guest - good job producers! Now, on to the issue at hand. Sanjaya and his lack of talent and his hair - that horrendous hair! I don't care what any of our readers say about it - if Howard Stern liked American Idol, he wouldn't have tortured us like this. Stop the insanity, get back to the real show at hand - talent - and let's find a way to get rid of this idiot! My idea is to personally go to the show, wrap him and his hair in bubble wrap and Fed Ex him to some very far, remote destination with no computer, no phone, no TV and no money. Then, let's have a new reality show, for those fools who voted for him, to watch, and it can be a show where they can determine if Sanjaya has the brains to make it back to LA in time for the finale of Idol! Each week, they can vote in their yes or no determination, depending on his progress, or lack thereof, and they can even have a separate vote for whether or not they liked his hair that week. If you don't like that idea, I see another future for Sanjaya, as Paris Hilton's new sidekick on The Simple Life - it's out there somewhere on cable, but at least not on Fox, where week after week we are now tortured watching. Crying - yes, I'm crying because he's not gone yet. Whew. Now I feel better. So, that's the recap. Think about it - let's rally the troops and get rid of Sanjaya. Over and out.
