“The Best Time of Our Lives“ Adds Cillian Murphy, Matthew Rhys

Murphy and Rhys will join Keira Knightley and Lindsay Lohan in Dylan Thomas film.
Cillian Murphy will turn in his Scarecrow mask to join the cast of The Best Time of Our Lives. The movie tells the story of poet Dylan Thomas, played by Matthew Rhys. Rhys is currently a costar on the series Brothers & Sisters, which airs on ABC. Lindsay Lohan plays the part of Thomas’ wife, Caitlin. Murphy (Batman Begins, 28 Days, Red Eye) is signed to play William Killick, the eventual husband of the film’s Vera Phillips, a childhood friend of the Thomases. The movie will detail the complicated relationship between Phillips (Pirates of the Caribbean star, Keira Knightley) and the Thomases, and the sequence of events that culminates in Phillips and Killick assaulting the Thomas household with a hand grenade and a machine gun.
The Best Time of Our Lives also made the headlines in October 2006. Actress Lindsay Lohan dropped a hint that her character’s relationship with Knightley’s character has a “lesbian undertone” of sorts.
