“Blades of Glory“ tops the box office.
The new movie, Blades of Glory, topped the box offices this weekend, raking in $33 million.
The comedy, starring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder, is about two rival ice skaters who have to put aside their differences in order to compete together in the pairs competition.
This is yet another box office hit for Ferrell, who has established himself as one of the biggest stars in comedy after starring in other hits such as Old School, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
Taking the number two spot at the box office this weekend was the new family film, Meet the Robinsons, which made $25.1 million. Rounding out the top five were 300, TMNT, and Wild Hogs.
