GQ Releases Annual List of Best-Dressed
2-Apr-2007
Written by: Jess Boettger
Daniel Craig takes top spot.
GQ has released their annual ranking of the best and worst, dressed men. Topping the British list is the new 007, Daniel Craig. According to the men’s style-conscious magazine, Craig’s Bond-look works for him because it’s essentially an upgrade of what the actor might wear normally. Craig received high praise, indeed, when GQ said, “No Bond since Sean Connery has worn [the suit] better.”
Also making the top 10 this year was Prince Harry. The royal’s look was described as “modern and classic with a hint of rock ‘n’ roll.” The younger prince beat out his brother William by 21 spots.
Others who made the elite cut: politician David Cameron, actor Clive Owen, Little Britain’s David Williams, actor Jude Law, and football superstar David Beckham. Rocker Pete Doherty was an unexpected 7th, comic Russell Brand was 8th, designer Tom Ford was 9th, with Harry rounding out the top ten.
