Rivera vs. O’Reilly

The Fox hosts have it out on TV.
Bill O’Reilly and Geraldo Rivera had it out on The O’Reilly Factor, the Fox political talk show. The verbal brawl began when Rivera had the audacity to accuse O’Reilly of making “a cheap political point.” What was the explosive argument over? Illegal immigration—kind of.
The story O’Reilly was commenting on concerned a man, who happened to be an illegal alien, who killed two teenagers while driving drunk in Virginia Beach. O’Reilly has called out the city’s mayor for what he referred to as a policy of not reporting illegal occupants of the country to federal authorities. Rivera responded to this attack, saying that the only reason the story was on The O’Reilly Factor was because of the illegal immigrant factor. Rivera then called on O’Reilly to apologize to the mayor. Verbal sparring ensued, though not quite culminating in a broken nose, which was inflicted on Rivera in 1988 on his old talk show. The entire exchange is finding great popularity on YouTube, and many are heralding Rivera as the winner.
