Scrub’s Star Weds Girlfriend

John C. McGinley marries his yoga instructor.
According to E! Online, Scrubs actor, John C. McGinley, married his girlfriend and yoga instructor, Nichole Kessler, at a Malibu ceremony, this weekend.
The couple held a small, intimate ceremony with only 30 relatives and friends, including McGinley's friend, actor John Cusack, at their beachfront house, on Saturday.
Kessler, 34, walked down the aisle alongside McGinley's nine-year-old son, Max, whom the actor had with ex-wife Lauren Lambert. McGinley claims to have met Kessler when Max, who has been diagonosed with Down syndrome, started talking to an attractive girl on the beach during a father-son trip to the ocean, three years ago.
Kessler's wedding dress was designed by Le Spose Di Gio. The reception featured sushi and a three-tier wedding cake from Mani's Bakery.
McGinley proposed to Kessler last August, in their Malibu garden. He describes the morning: "I wanted to show her some different flower ideas I had...And I had the rock in my pocket. I told her, 'Sit down here to see the view of the ocean,' and I said, 'Will you marry me?' and I took out the rock." "The rock" is a two-carat round diamond with the center stone, representing Kessler, surrounded by two one-carat diamonds, representing McGinley and his son.
McGinley was married to Lauren Lambert for two years before getting divorced in 1998. Kessler has never been married before.
It was not certain whether or not any of McGinley's Scrubs co-stars were present, and Zach Braff and Donald Faison were out celebrating Braff's 32nd birthday in Las Vegas at Jet nightclub on Friday night. NBC has yet to renew Scrubs for a seventh season, but it is likely that ABC, whose subsidiary, Touchstone, produces the show, will air the Peabody Award-winning series' final season if NBC drops it.
