Fishburne to Voice Silver Surfer

He will voice Silver Surfer in the “Fantastic Four“ sequel, and not as Galactus, as previously rumored.
Laurence Fishburne will provide the voice of Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, instead of voicing Galactus, which was the role that the actor was rumored to have earlier this week.
Silver Surfer was played by actor Doug Jones during production, but only his performance and movement references will appear in the film.
Fishburne begins voice work this week so he can join Fantastic Four veterans Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis, who are set to take part in the sequel.
He is best known for his work in the Matrix trilogy. He also narrated the computer animated film, TMNT.
The Fantastic Four: Rise of Silver Surfer is directed by Tim Story and is set for a June 15 release.
