Brandy’s Out, Sharon Osbourne’s In

“America’s Got Talent“ adds Osbourne to the judges’ panel.
Sharon Osbourne has bumped Brandy from her judge’s role on America’s Got Talent. Osbourne, 54, is the wife and manager of rock star Ozzy Osbourne. The couple and their offspring gained attention with an MTV reality series, The Osbournes.
America’s Got Talent is returning for its second season on May 29, NBC announced on Thursday. In a statement released by executive producer Simon Cowell, he says that “on this show, it just had to be Sharon Osbourne.” Other judges who made the cut for a return to the show’s second season are actor David Hasselhoff and Piers Morgan, a British fixture in the media. The show’s new host is Jerry Springer, of talk show notoriety.
Brandy has been cut after a December Los Angeles freeway car crash which ended in the death of a woman. The 28-year-old singer is faced with two wrongful death suits from the 38-year-old woman’s family.
