Britney’s Family Apologizes to Ex-Manager

Jamie Spears speaks out in support of Larry Rudolph.
Britney’s not getting any support from her family for her sudden dismissal of manager Larry Rudolph. The pop princess recently terminated her contract with Rudolph, citing him for her partying ways. Spears pointed to her manager as the reason for her hanging out with party-girl socialite, Paris Hilton, and also was reportedly very unhappy with him for pressing her into rehab.
Now, Spears’ father, Jamie, is sticking up for the ex-manager. He told the press that Rudolph was only doing what Britney’s family and a team of professionals knew had to be done. He said that Rudolph was merely the one elected by “the team” to deliver the message.
“The Spears family would like to publicly apologize to Larry for our daughter’s statements about him over the past few weeks.” Daddy Spears goes on to say that his daughter blames Rudolph and her family for her situation today (meaning her kids and career).
The pop star, however, has chalked her father’s comments up to a lack of understanding and love on his part, telling the press via her publicist that the two have never had a good relationship.
