Contestant is hired after 13 weeks.
The four finalists on Donald Trump's reality show, The Apprentice were narrowed down to one after 13 weeks of intensive interviewing. Stefani Schaeffer, 32, was hired by Trump on the conclusion of the show's sixth season, on Sunday night. The corporate lawyer from California beat out fellow finalists, James Sun, Nicole D'Ambrosio, and Frank Lombardi.
Schaeffer claims she was never intimidated by Trump, stating, "I was never under fire in the boardroom...Not once did you ever see me brought back by any team members, nor did you ever hear a negative word spoken about me from day one of this process." As the winner, Schaeffer received the option of working for Donald Trump's new resort development in the Caribbean or a condo in Atlanta. Schaeffer chose the Caribbean position along with finalist Nicole, while James and Frank picked the Atlanta option.
The seventh season of The Apprentice has already been ordered by NBC, but ratings for the show have been declining since 2004.
