The End of the “Gilmore Girls”
3-May-2007
Written by: Abby Riese

“Gilmore Girls” will end after a seven season run.

After seven seasons, Gilmore Girls calls it quits. The final episode is scheduled to air May 15 at 8 p.m. Eastern time, reports the Associated Press.

The show stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as fast-talking, independent mother and daughter. The show airs Tuesday nights on the CW, which was formed by the merger of the WB and UPN.

“[Gilmore Girls] helped define a network and created a fantastic storybook world featuring some of television's most memorable, lovable characters," said the CW and the studio in a joint statement.
