It's a Boy for Kevin Costner

Kevin Costner and his wife, Christine Baumgartner, welcomed son, Cayden Wyatt, to the world this weekend in a Los Angeles area hospital.

He was born at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday and weighs 7 pounds and 14 ounces with a head of dark hair, said publicist Paul Bloch on Monday.

"Both mother and son are doing well," he said.

Cayden Wyatt is the couple's first child. However, Costner has three children named Annie, Lily and Joe with ex-wife Cindy, and a son named Liam with socialite Bridget Rooney, with whom the actor had a short fling. Costner and Baumgartner wed in 2004 at his Aspen ranch.

His film, Dances with Wolves, won two Oscars, and he recently starred in 2006's The Guardian, alongside Ashton Kutcher. The next movie for Costner is the psychological thriller, Mr. Brooks, with Demi Moore and William Hurt. It is due out June 1.
