Nick Cannon Gets Engaged

Proposes to girlfriend Selita Ebanks
Funnyman Nick Cannon took a serious step in his relationship last night by becoming engaged to girlfriend Selita Ebanks.
Cannon, 26, is best-known for his MTV program Wild ‘N Out, which is an improvisational comedy show. This season, he also created Short Circuitz, a comedy sketch show.
The beautiful Ebanks, 23, has gained notoriety for her appearances in the Victoria’s Secret catalog and fashion show.
The night started out normally with Cannon and Ebanks attending the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala. Shortly after the event was over, the couple hopped in a Rolls Royce Phantom and drove to Times Square.
It was there that the proposal was made very public, as Cannon had the words “Selita will you marry me?” lit up on a huge Jumbotron. He then proceeded to get on his knee and pull out a huge 12-carat diamond ring. With a crowd of people watching the scene unfold, Ebanks excitingly said yes.
The couple was then whisked away to Butter, where the two celebrated with family and friends that Cannon had secretly invited.
