Britney Thanks Steadfast Fans

Britney thanks fans for their continued support on her website on May 16.
It has been a turbulent year for Britney Spears, and if there were anyone she should thank for sticking by her through thick and thin, then it may as well be her fans, who have (only figuratively), just in a year, held her hand through a divorce, drunk flashing down-under, hairless wonder, and recently – rehab.
In response, Britney posted a message on her website on May 16, assuring her fans that “their prayers have truly helped [her].” Spears counted her blessings, saying, “I…will continue to live in this brighter state with all of you by my side during this trying time.” The pop star spiced up her message with an enticing photo of herself posing topless – perhaps not entirely fresh material, but we applaud the effort – a blonde wig hiding her recently shaved head (oops, too late).
Spears held a 15-minute, “come-back” show on May 1, and currently plans for two shows on May 19 and 20 in Florida. Her newest album will come out later this year.
